My business recently booked the two day Mental Health First Aid program delivered by the brilliant Dee Walsh. Such a thought provoking and inspiring two days delivered with great sensitivity. Dee was so knowledgeable and put the whole group at ease. Would highly recommend. Many thanks Adam and Dee.

Had first aid at work training with Adam, it was really informative and interesting. He makes effort to keep you involved rather than just lecturing which makes for a really good all round experience. Would definitely recommend this company for your training.

Really informative and enjoyable!

Brilliant first aid courses for the Childcare sector. You really come out of the course feeling confident with first aid. Adam is a really informative and support training leader. Highly recommend.

Really good first aid course! Adam went above and beyond and delivered the course exceptionally. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Professional and enjoyable training.

Thanks for today Adam, had to be one of the best first aid courses I have been on, very enjoyable, interesting and very professional, would highly recommend, thanks again.

Highly skilled and very professional in all areas of First Aid. Highly Recommended to anyone whos after skills that do save lives. Thankyou.

Laura and I have used Peers and Rooney training for 5 years now, for ourselves and for the staff that help us in our Creche company.
We have always recommended him to friends and colleagues, who have always been equally as happy with the fantastic courses the company provides.
Peers and Rooney run informative courses that keep your interest throughout and far better than any courses I have done prior to using Peers and Rooney.

Recently our nursery Dandelions Day Nursery Farndon updated our first aid training with Adam. Was very good and we all finished the 2 day course confident again to use our first aid training skills.

Best paediatric first aid course we have ever been on. Looking forward to day 2.

All of our staff have just updated their level 3 paediatric first aid qualification with Adam. He made a very intensive course relaxed and enjoyable while passing on up to date information. Will definitely be using you again in the future.

Adam taught our emergency first aid course today, he was a fantastic instructor with a really friendly attitude and a wealth of knowledge! highly recommend.

Our company Aughton Automation Ltd recently had AED training from Adam we had previously used him for EFAW. Adam’s approach was simple but informative staring with the theory of how and why we use CPR and AED machines. The course was delivered with a quality approach and true professionalism. We would highly recommend Adam he has helped prepare our staff to deal with a cardiac emergency. Thanks Adam!

We have used Peers and Rooney Training for several years. The training is always of a high standard and very informative. The staff thought the Bluetooth Annie’s and the Choking vests were particularly helpful. It is obvious that Adam invests alot of money into the business to keep the practical training interesting and up to date.
Would highly recommend Peers and Rooney Training!

Third time I’ve trained with Peers and Rooney. Fab as always. Adam makes the sessions fun and informative with no pressure put on anyone. Lots of practical demonstrations. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Brilliant course today at chester zoo, would highly reccomend it! Hope to add on to what I learned today.

I’ve been on other first aid courses which were no where near the level of this course. Absolutely great, very informative and easy to follow, I couldn’t fault it! Wouldn’t recommend going with anyone else.

We’ve used Peers & Rooney twice now for our first aid training and thought they were absolutely brilliant. Adam Rooney took both of our sessions and all the staff thought he was a great teacher and his methods were both fun, educational and memorable. Highly recommended, thank you on behalf of the entire Swiftcase team.

This was the first time we have used Peers & Rooney, they were highly recommended to us by one of their existing clients Upton Village Preschool.
From the first point of contact they were very efficient and accommodating, Adam was able to book us in at short notice and on a Sunday! Communication was prompt and the course content and delivery were excellent. We would highly recommend Peers & Rooney with out hesitation & will definitely use again.
Thanks again Adam on behalf of Chester Road Club (Go-Ride Section).

Adam delivered First Aid Training for 30 of our staff on site. Training was well delivered, engaging and good fun. Positive feedback has been received from all of the delegates! Would highly recommend. Thanks again, Joe.

I have received training from Peers Rooney many times. By far my preferred provider. Information is clear concise and presented in a way that makes it easy to remember. Definitely recommended.

We have used Peers Rooney many times for our staffs Paediatric First Aid Training. The training is delivered in a way to suit everyone and with lots of interaction, hands on activities and some written work the times flies by. Can definitely recommend.

Amazing course and training day provided by Adam as always! Can’t recommend enough!

Adam Rooney has provided our training for several years, both on-site and distance learning.
The courses are very informative and interactive and conducted in a relaxed atmosphere and therefore enjoyed by all.
Adam is always available for help, advice and support and nothing is too much trouble. We have built up a great working relationship and will continue to use their services for years to come.

We have completed another great 2 day training session with Adam. We all left, as we do each time with even more confidence in every area of first aid. The courses are made interesting, relevant and full of 100% up to date knowledge. We wouldn’t go with anyone else in this area of learning. Your support throughout the year as well as the 3 yearly courses provides us with the correct knowledge and leaves the team with confidence in what to do if any of these accident/incidents were to arise. Thank you!

Something I've found posted and followed up from previous queries from some nurseries in my area! Followed this up with my AO Awarding organisation for guidance because some had been purchased! Here's the official advice from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) on airway clearance devices, emailed to me last week in response to my enquiry about the use of these devices by first aiders, carers or other non-clinical staff.“We have been working with both LifeVac and Dechoker over recent months to agree an approach that balances the need to support innovative products to be introduced onto the UK market whilst recognising that for products such as LifeVac and Dechoker it is extremely difficult to generate extensive pre-market clinical data to demonstrate performance and safety. As the use of suction devices does not currently fit within current basic life support protocols in the UK, we have agreed with LifeVac and Dechoker that they will take all reasonable steps to ensure that their product should only be used in the following situations:• By registered healthcare professionals or individuals with advanced life support training, only if currently recognised basic life support protocols have failed; or• In situations where emergency services are unable to respond, for example on aeroplanes or ships, only if currently recognised basic life support protocols have failed; or• On individuals in moulded wheelchairs, only if currently recognised basic life support protocols have failed. This approach is intended to allow LifeVac and Dechoker to gather clinical data in a controlled environment, with trained healthcare professionals, which will allow the generation of more robust clinical data over time through structured post-market surveillance. The results of this post-market surveillance will then inform any further decisions on extending the availability of the device in the UK.MHRA acknowledge that a situation could occur, within the sectors listed below, whereby LifeVac or Dechoker could appropriately be deployed strictly in line with the existing conditions for use listed above and where established PMCF (post-market clinical follow-up) procedures are followed.• Adult Social Care (as defined by CQC registration)• Hospitals• Users of Moulded Wheelchairs• Private and Commercial Watercraft• GP, Health & Dental Surgeries• Trains• Aircraft• Prisons/Custody/Detention CentreBoth LifeVac and Dechoker are registered within the EU as class I medical devices, however for class I devices this is a self-declaration by the manufacturer that the device meets the essential requirements of the medical device regulations. Class I registrations with MHRA or other EU Competent Authorities do not mean that MHRA have approved the device.” ... See MoreSee Less
